Pastor Christopher McCain

II Corinthians 4:7, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us”.

Pastor Christopher Matthew McCain was born on July 29, 1972 in Ashtabula, Ohio. From an early age, ministry played an important role in Christopher’s life. At age 7, Christopher delivered his first inaugural message. Having been preaching for only three years, at age 10, doctors implicitly stated he would not live to see the age of 12! BUT, by the grace and power of the Most High God, Christopher continued on his spiritual journey, along with a praying grandmother at the altar, preached this Gospel of Peace.  This devout man of God mission is to continue to be a strong advocate for Christ teaching and preaching as well as striving to be an example to all of those he comes in contact with exemplifying the love of Christ.

Pastor Christopher McCain is currently enrolled in the Certificate of Progress Program (COPP). This program trains Christian educators with the essential information and teaching techniques to fulfill their commission in their local ministries with excellence. As he has completed this program, he has earned a Christian Education diploma which is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Furthermore, he is a certified Instructor. This upcoming year he will complete the necessary requirements to graduate from the Dean's program which will enable him to facilitate certified Christian leadership schools locally, through our districts, and on state levels that are approved by the Sunday School Publishing Board under the auspices of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc.

In retrospect the following are some milestones in the life of Elder Christopher McCain:

• 2004  Ordination to Preach the Unadulterated Gospel

• 2008-2015 Assistant Pastor Christ Temple Missionary Baptist Church

• 2009 United Missionary Baptist State Convention of Ohio Congress of Christian Education Vice President

• 2013 Union Missionary Baptist District Association Congress of Christian Education President

Throughout his spiritual career, Pastor Christopher McCain has established lifelong learning experiences from attending as well as teaching a variety of seminars, workshops, the National Baptist Conventions, retreats, etc. He has effortlessly preached countless revivals where thousands were saved, delivered, changed, and filled with the Holy Ghost.
